Writing For Brilliant Women--a diary of a happy writer

This is the diary of a writer who was unpublished, then published over thirty books, whereupon she found herself struck with the burning desire to create a different kind of magic. Neither fairy tale nor fable, this writer likes her story liberally sprinkled with a bit of the impossible dream.

Auction Fun and Other Great Thoughts

Fun people, you should go to www.duetsauthors.com and check out the auction that they are having for Jamie Denton, a fellow writer who is uninsured and fighting breast cancer. There are lots of wonderful critiques and books and other goodies . . . and I've donated my twelve-books series, all autographed to buyer, of Cowboys By The Dozen. Go bid and help a great cause! Those twelve brothers, plus an anthology, would love to find a home in your house!

So . . . onto more great thoughts: Tomorrow's thought is going to be on killing my editor. (Chairs fall over in New York and Canada; editors check their pulses)

Not any of my wonderful editors . . . the internal editor which resides inside me and leads me to pull apart a book five days before deadline, in order that I may rewrite the book at least from the middle forward, if not chuck it straight into the shredder.

Let's talk. :)

Love, Tina
